  • Prepare and process daily and weekly bank deposits.
  • Record revenue receipts and journal entries in the accounting system.
  • Collect, maintain, and monitor vendor documentation, including W-9 forms and certificates of insurance.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries related to third-party property management activities.
  • Maintain financial records, agreements, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and process annual 1099 forms, ensuring IRS compliance.
  • Prepare and submit annual regulatory and compliance filings.
  • Assist with special projects related to real estate development and financial analysis.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Provide financial and administrative support to senior finance leadership as needed.
  • Serve as backup for accounting and bookkeeping functions.
  • Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely completion of required filings and reports.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain electronic document files.
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Education & Experience

One of the following combinations is required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR
  • Associate degree and 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of construction accounting preferred.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
