Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Securities Services – Announcement Capture Analyst in Jersey City to process high-risk corporate actions and validate information across milestones. You will collaborate with Middle Office, Client Service, and product teams to support day-to-day operations, monitor performance, and drive improvements through automation while working extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of DTC and SWIFT message types used in Asset Servicing workflows.
• Experience with Asset Servicing operating systems (IMACTIONS, TCS BANCS) and vendor management.
• Ability to collaborate with partners and manage workload to tight deadlines.
• Able to operate in large-scale, high-volume environments and multi-stream programs.
• Strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming corporate action events from multiple sources (e.g., SWIFT messages, agent emails, offer documents) and create and maintain corporate actions, including mergers, repurchase offers, exchange offers, and optional dividends.
• Execute routine and non-routine corporate action announcement processes with moderate to advanced complexity, applying intermediate to advanced subject matter expertise.
• Diagnose operational issues and provide technical or process resolutions within defined guidelines and limited autonomy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subscribers via Operations, Middle Office, and Client Service teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Perform End-of-Day (EOD) control checks to confirm all work is completed accurately and risks are identified, escalated, and managed appropriately.
• Publish daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to key stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and performance against targets.
• Recommend and support process improvements to reduce manual touchpoints and increase efficiency through standardization and automation opportunities.
• Maintain flexibility to work extended hours and rotating shifts as required to meet business demands and client expectations, consistently performing under pressure.
