Job summary

ProspectBlue partners with a growing restoration and project-based services company to recruit a Corporate Accountant. The role supports the Controller and CFO, focusing on month-end close, financial reporting, WIP accounting, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Staff or Senior Accountant level experience preferred.
• WIP/percentage‑of‑completion accounting experience is a plus.
• Construction, restoration, or project-based services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze WIP schedules.
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare flash reports, KPI scorecards, and financial analysis.
• Assist with weekly/monthly and 13‑week cash flow forecasting.
• Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax and Personal Property Tax filings.
• Support audit preparation and GAAP research.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Assist with acquisitions, ERP data migration, and other special projects.
• Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on accounting and process improvements.
