Job summary

ProspectBlue is partnering with a growing restoration and project-based services company to hire a Corporate Accountant. This role supports the Controller and CFO, focusing on the month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis.

We seek a Staff or Senior Accountant with 3–5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and a keen eye for detail to drive improvements, handle WIP, tax compliance, and ERP data migration on cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Staff or Senior Accountant experience preferred.
• Construction, restoration, or project-based services experience a plus.
• WIP or percentage-of-completion accounting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze WIP schedules.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare flash reports, KPI scorecards, and financial analysis.
• Assist with weekly/monthly and 13-week cash flow forecasting.
• Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax and Personal Property Tax filings.
• Support audit preparation and GAAP research.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Assist with acquisitions, ERP data migration, and other special projects.
• Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on accounting and process improvements.
