Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Coronary, to support the vascular division across the designated territory, primarily in Atlanta. You will plan cases, provide case coverage, and promote vascular products through education and training of hospital staff.

The role focuses on vessel closure devices and requires strong clinical expertise, ability to build relationships with physicians and hospital personnel, and travel up to 50% within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to identify clinical needs and demonstrate how vascular products help achieve goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical support for case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on product usage through presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab and OR to ensure customer success with vascular products.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints with feasible solutions in collaboration with sales, clinical research, and product development teams.
• Support the broader region with case support as needed.
