Job summary

LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for UT Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. In this role, you will oversee daily lab operations, ensuring test accuracy and supervising a team of lab professionals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and has at least five years of laboratory experience, including a Tennessee state supervisor’s license. Comprehensive benefits are offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day‑to‑day operations of the Core Lab.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science
