Job summary

LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking a Technologist at UT-Knoxville Medical Center. This role involves determining the acceptability of specimens, performing complex procedures, and ensuring quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, at least a year of experience, and excellent communication skills. A generous benefits package is provided including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required.
• Proficient with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
