Job summary

Labcorp is looking for a Technologist to join our team at UT Knoxville Medical Center. The role involves determining specimen acceptability, performing technical procedures, and monitoring instrumentation to ensure quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year of clinical lab testing experience. The position offers a rotating two-week schedule and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• 3 months or more of clinical laboratory testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care.
