Job summary

Direct Federal Credit Union is seeking a Core Systems Administrator to own the KeyStone core banking platform and its connected technologies. You will administer production, test, and training environments, implement upgrades, and ensure secure, reliable operation while coordinating with vendors and business stakeholders.

You will also support reporting, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement across the core systems landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in IT, application administration, or core systems in a regulated environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of KeyStone core banking and related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations, data imports/exports, and vendor‑managed systems.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for KeyStone across environments.
• Configure, maintain, document KeyStone and connected systems and data exchanges.
• Manage user access, security reviews, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and change management plans.
• Develop tests, perform validation, and document results.
• Provide timely support via helpdesk queues and vendor coordination.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and audit artifacts.
• Develop SQL queries and ad hoc reports for operations and BI needs.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to improve workflows.
