Job summary

Covantage-Credit-Union is seeking an Operations Systems Technician to support core banking systems, automate processes, and ensure secure, reliable operations across Windows platforms and the Symitar Episys core.

You will manage user access, assist with system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams across the credit union to keep critical systems available for employees and members.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in information technology or related field.
• Experience in IT or systems support preferred; entry level with relevant education encouraged to apply.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage user access across core systems, onboarding, role changes, and terminations.
• Maintain security permissions and access controls to support regulatory compliance.
• Support operation and maintenance of member-facing technologies (ATMs, ITMs, coin machines).
• Coordinate equipment deployments, upgrades, replacements, and inventory tracking.
• Own assigned incidents/requests through resolution or escalation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues with Service Desk support as needed.
