Job summary

Itau US is seeking a Core Banking Application Analyst to support our mission-critical banking platform and related applications. The role focuses on day-to-day operational stability, issue resolution, vendor coordination, business support, and project delivery, with a strong techno-functional understanding of core banking processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting core banking applications in a banking/financial services environment.
• Strong familiarity with Temenos T24/Transact or comparable platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for core banking applications and ensure continuity of day-to-day activities.
• Act as a functional analyst and liaison between business and IT teams.
• Analyze incidents and service requests to determine root causes and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors to open, track, and resolve support tickets within SLA.
• Support core banking modules (accounts, deposits, lending, payments, settlements, reporting) and interfaces.
• Participate in upgrades, releases, migrations, and integration projects.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate into actionable work items.
• Support testing activities (unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, production validation).
• Review vendor solutions for alignment with business needs and IT standards.
• Contribute to change management, release planning, and production readiness.
