Job summary

Itaú USA seeks a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technical solutions in a banking context. You will gather requirements for new and existing enterprise applications, translate them into functional specs, and participate in SDLC from design to production support.

You will apply strong analytical skills in data-driven analysis, collaborate with vendors and internal teams, and contribute to ensuring system performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in project implementation or management.
• Minimum 3 years in banking/financial services, preferably Private Banking.
• Experience with core banking systems integration and data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Gather, document, and communicate business requirements for new enterprise applications and enhancements.
• Develop detailed specifications, test plans, and training materials in alignment with SDLC.
• Support production operations, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors.
• Participate in system integration testing and UAT support with issue tracking and resolution.
