Job summary

First Bank seeks an IT Core Banking Systems Support Analyst to ensure reliable operation of core banking and digital systems. You will diagnose issues, configure environments, and collaborate with teams and vendors to maintain performance.

The role requires extensive experience with Temenos, Finacle, FIS or similar platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 7 years minimum experience in a system support role with 5+ years supporting core banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for core banking systems performance, availability and reliability.
• Provide operational support for core banking applications (transaction processing, account management, loans, payments).
• Support digital banking applications (bill pay, account origination, P2P).
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements to technical tasks.
• Perform system and quality control testing to validate solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues; escalate to vendors as needed.
• Assist end-users with queries and training on system features.
• Use monitoring tools for performance tracking and proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate patches/updates with IT teams and vendors.
• Support regulatory/compliance efforts with data, logs, and documentation.
