Job summary

Illinois Sanitation Service Inc. is hiring reliable Butchers / Meat Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced meat processing and distribution warehouse. You will cut, trim, package, label, and weigh meat products while complying with all safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include operating knives, grinders, slicers, and saws safely, inspecting product quality, and assisting with inventory in a refrigerated environment. E-verify and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Cut, trim, portion, and package meat according to company specifications.
• Operate meat processing equipment safely.
• Label, weigh, and prepare products for shipment and distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety guidelines.
• Inspect meat products for quality and freshness.
• Load and unload products from storage areas and trucks.
• Work in refrigerated and cold warehouse environments.
• Assist with inventory and stock rotation.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support production and warehouse teams as needed.
