Job summary

FlexTG, a nationwide managed print provider, seeks an Experienced Service Technician to service and repair office copiers and printers in the San Diego area. This field-based role requires solid technical skills, time management, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

You will travel to customer sites across San Diego County, install and configure equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support sales by identifying upgrade opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proven experience repairing office equipment (copiers/printers).
• Basic networking knowledge (print drivers, connectivity troubleshooting).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair copiers and printers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
• Install and configure equipment, including scanning in peer-to-peer environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize device uptime.
• Manage parts inventory and supplies according to company standards.
