Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Meridian, MS seeks an experienced Quality/Performance Improvement professional to coordinate and evaluate hospital and medical staff performance initiatives. You will provide consultation to physicians, staff, PI teams, and departments on improvement methodologies and processes to enhance quality of care and service.

Qualifications

• RN, RHIA, RHIT or related healthcare professional with three years clinical experience and/or three years in quality management or accreditation preparation.
• Five years experience in clinical practice; Five years experience in quality management or accreditation preparation.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; ability to educate staff on PI tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, implements and evaluates hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities.
• Coordinates, implements and evaluates performance improvement activities utilizing external comparative benchmarking.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, external entities.
• Educates hospital staff and physicians regarding Performance Improvement tools and techniques.
• Completes assigned goals.

Provides consultation to physicians, staff, PI teams, and departments regarding improvement methodologies and processes.
