Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to coordinate, implement and evaluate hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities, focusing on quality of care and service delivery.

You will provide consultation to physicians, staff, PI teams, and departments, support benchmarking, and facilitate post-op care coordination to improve continuum of care. RN/RHIA/RHIT or equivalent required with several years in quality management.

Qualifications

• .RN, RHIA, RHIT or related healthcare professional with three years clinical experience and/or three years in quality management or accreditation preparation.
• Five years experience in clinical practice; Five years experience in quality management or accreditation preparation.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; able to write clearly and record information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement and evaluate hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate, implement and evaluate performance improvement activities using external benchmarking.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff and external entities.
• Educate hospital staff and physicians regarding performance improvement tools and techniques.

Job Summary

Coordinates, implements and evaluates the hospital and medical staff clinical and operational performance improvement activities. Conducts portions of the medical staff performance improvement process, including profiling with intent to maintain and improve quality of care and service. Provides consultation to physicians, staff, PI teams, and departments regarding improvement methodologies and processes. May include patient care coordination for post op needs to improve continuum of care.

Performs other duties as assigned.
