Starting Pay - 70,400; Commensuratewith education and experience

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Flexibility isrequired, as occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessarybased on divisional needs.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting daily operations of theirdepartment, programs, or major process focused on academic affairs,potentially including credit and non-credit instructionalresponsibilities. This position is expected to monitor programbudgets and to lead institutional and community outreach. Thisposition is expected to have a high level of department andprograms specific knowledge The position requires collaborationacross multiple divisions, campuses, and levels of theinstitution.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*

  • Leads and/or facilitates highly complex unit or programs;performs complex administrative, technical functions for the unitor programs
  • Performs complex, unit specific tasks relating to programdevelopment for credit and non-credit programs and assists withclass schedules for credit and non-credit offerings
  • Supports daily operations of the department; makes technicaldecisions by applying policies, regulations, and protocol
  • Manages community outreach events and analyzes data to assessprogram effectiveness
  • Collaborates with department leadership on developing goals andoutcomes
  • Collaborates as needed with administrative staff on dailyoperational needs
  • Monitors department and program budgets
  • Prepares, organizes, and manages presentations and reportingmaterials.
  • Assists with hiring of new staff as assigned
  • Actively recruits and engages prospective students and industrypartners
  • Develops and maintains relationships with individuals andorganizations across the institution and community
Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
  • Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree and three (3) years’ working experience relatedto the Essential Performance Requirements, or any equivalentcombination of education and work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience in a higher educationenvironment
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience collaborating withindustry partners in developing internship, work-based learningopportunities, and apprenticeships
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of academic program operations, including credit andnon-credit offerings, and institutional policies, procedures, andguidelines
  • Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and buildingeffective interpersonal relationships, with strong listening,verbal, and written communication skills
  • Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems,including Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Teams), to support reporting, presentations, andprogram operations
  • Ability to analyze information, think critically, and resolvecomplex problems in a fast-paced environment with shiftingpriorities
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks andprojects, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timelycompletion
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff,leadership, and external partners to support programs, outreach,and institutional initiatives
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and data tosupport decision-making, program development, and continuousimprovement
  • Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and communications,while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentialitywith sensitive information

Thenoise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
