Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Artist and Event Services Coordinator, at Eastern KentuckyUniversity, directs the operation of all events across campus,including back-of-house, volunteer and rental operations at Centerfor the Arts. The Artist and Event Services Coordinator coordinatesand oversees artist service details, residency activities andcommunity performances. The incumbent will manage client services,event contract creation and expenses and coordinate activities withothers to effectively execute various campus and Center events incompliance with event contracts. The incumbent serves as theon-site manager in charge of back-of-house hospitality operationsat all events and represents the University. The Artist and EventServices Coordinator develops and implements event managementstrategies that encourage repeat customers by creating an excellentoverall customer experience. This position will assist with variousduties and client services across campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in businessmanagement, theater arts, or related field is required.
Experience: One year of directly relatedexperience is required, preferably including experience in eventplanning, customer service, and/or front of house guest servicemanagement.
Licensure & Certifications: A valid driver'slicense is required.
