Job summary

The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is seeking a Coordinated Entry System Coordinator to support the homeless continuum of care in Champaign County. The role will manage CES data, coordinate with partner agencies, and help ensure HUD-aligned practices.

Ideal candidates bring strong social services experience, excellent communication, and comfort with data reporting. Full-time position based in Urbana, with a starting wage of $23.50–$25.50 per hour and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field is required.
• At least three years of direct client service experience; background in homelessness/crisis intervention preferred.
• Excellent organization, written and verbal communication, public speaking, facilitation and data management skills.
• Ability to work outside traditional hours and drive a vehicle; background checks required.
• Knowledge of housing continuums and public assistance programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain and report on CES data.
• Recruit, train and support CES partner organizations.
• Facilitate CES committee meetings and coordination.
• Support grant applications and reporting.
• Develop CES expertise and ensure HUD alignment.
• Engage the community through outreach and provide direct CES services.
