Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring for a part-time Cookie Crew member at our Chapel Hill store. You will greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and ensure a warm experience in person and over the phone. You’ll bake cookies, assist with ice cream scoops, and help prepare orders for delivery/pickup.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, a friendly, outgoing demeanor, and strong communication. Must be at least 18 and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the store and take orders per procedure.
• Assist customers with menu items and clarify orders for accuracy.
• Provide warm, in-person and phone customer experiences.
• Bake cookies and scoop ice cream in the shop.
• Package, deliver, or prepare orders including cash handling and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our Chapel Hill store located at 145 East Franklin Street Chapel Hill, NC 27514, you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!
