Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring for a Store Crew member at our Dayton UD store. You will greet guests, help with orders, bake cookies, and ensure orders are delivered warm and on time. The role supports customers in‑person and over the phone, with an emphasis on accuracy, speed, and friendly service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a customer-service role preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor.
• Willing to exceed guest expectations.
• Good communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and confirm orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream as needed.
• Package and deliver fast, warm, correct orders.
• Handle cash accurately and maintain no shortages or overages.
• Keep the bakery clean, sanitized, and organized.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our UD store located at 6 Oakwood Ave, Dayton, OH 45409, you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome Warm and Delicious cookies as well!

WHAT ELSE WILL I DO AS A MEMBER OF THE COOKIE CREW?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure

• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
