Job summary

Apple Rehab Cromwell is looking for a Per Diem Cook Supervisor to manage the dietary department. You will supervise dietary personnel, ensure adherence to established policies, and prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs.

The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to handle stressful situations. As a Cook Supervisor, you'll also assist in planning for special events and contribute to production planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serv Safe Manager certification.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with residents and family.

Responsibilities

• Supervises dietary department personnel and ensures adherence to policies.
• Prepares and serves meals according to residents’ dietary needs.
• Assists Dietary Manager with production planning and inventory management.
• Responds to residents’ requests on short notice.
