Apple Rehab Farmington Valley, a 130-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Plainville, CT, is seeking a Cook Supervisor for 32 hours per week. You will lead dietary staff, oversee meal prep and service, and collaborate with the Dietary Manager to meet residents' dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Serv Safe Manager certification required.
• Must read, write, and understand English; perform simple math.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care food service preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train others.
• Physically capable of unloading, stocking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise dietary personnel.
• Oversee meal prep and service per residents' dietary needs.
• Coordinate with Dietary Manager on production planning and events.
• Assist in purchasing and equipment management.
• Ensure meals are visually appealing and within budget.
