Qualifications

• Must hold Serv Safe Manager certification.
• Ability to supervise dietary personnel and lead the department.
• Experience in hospital or long term care food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor dietary personnel, ensuring policy compliance.
• Prepare and serve meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements with the Dietary Manager.
• Contribute to production planning, forecasting needs and recipe development.
• Assist in procurement and storage of food and equipment.
• Ensure meals are visually appealing and within budget.
• Operate kitchen equipment and adaptive tools for residents' needs.
• Respond to residents' requests with flexibility and professionalism.
• Assist in planning facility-wide special events with the Dietary Manager.
