Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Summit segment at Cass County Jail in Cass County, NE. This role focuses on coordinating and supervising staff to uphold quality and efficiency in a fast-paced correctional kitchen environment.

Qualifications include at least one year of culinary experience in high-volume settings, strong knowledge of culinary methods, and prior supervision ability. A Food Handlers certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful customer service.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
