Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook a wide variety of foods for residents, staff, and visitors in a healthcare dining setting. The role requires following recipes, planning cooking schedules, and performing cleaning duties as assigned.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED or two years of healthcare-related experience, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Weekend/holiday flexibility and adherence to attendance policies are expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED or at least two (2) years of experience in the healthcare field and/or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods for residents, employees and visitors.
• Cook according to recipes and schedules; perform related cleaning duties as assigned.
• Direct other food service staff in the absence of the supervisor.
• Adhere to sanitary regulations and facility policies.
