American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking a cook for full-time evening shifts to join our culinary team and contribute to nutritious, high-quality meals for residents.

The role requires following standardized recipes, coordinating with staff, and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior healthcare kitchen experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred.
• Prior institutional/healthcare kitchen experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follows recipes and prepares meals that meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks meals in required quantities with palatability and nutrition in mind.
• Leads kitchen staff in food prep, tray assembly, cleaning and storage of supplies.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during food prep and service.
• Handles, stores and disposes of food following procedures and regulations.
