Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Cook to deliver lunch and dinner in our scratch-based kitchen. You will safely prepare entrées and sides, ensuring high quality and appealing presentation while honoring resident preferences.

You will build positive relationships with residents and team members, maintain clean stations, and help with opening/closing tasks. This role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables, ensuring plates look appealing.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings and staying attentive during service.
• Complete opening and closing tasks for each shift, and support teammates to maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations fully stocked and organized, refreshing pantry items and monitoring refrigeration.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and equipment and recording temperatures.
