Job summary

Robinwood Retirement Community is seeking a Cook to deliver lunch and dinner in our scratch-based kitchen. You’ll prepare entrées and sides, ensure high quality and portion control, and create a warm dining environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work Thursday through Monday before lunch through dinner.
• Able to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking is preferred.
• Must obtain food handler permits within two weeks of start date as required by local ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and stay attentive during service hours.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and help teammates to keep a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, refresh pantry items, and monitor refrigeration.
• Ensure sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning work areas and recording temperatures.
