Job summary

Robinwood Retirement Community is seeking a Cook to deliver lunch and dinner in a scratch-based kitchen, preparing entrées and sides while ensuring top quality and appealing presentation. You will foster friendly relations with residents, guests and team members to maintain a warm dining environment.

The role demands a Thursday–Monday schedule including AM shifts as needed, with preference for kitchen prep and cooking experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work a Thursday–Monday schedule before lunch through dinner; AM shift as needed.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits as required within 2 weeks of start.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes using various cooking methods.
• Contribute ideas during meetings and support service line coverage.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and assist teammates to maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized; refresh pantry items for freshness and appearance.
• Ensure sanitary kitchen environment; monitor temperatures for safety and satisfaction.
