Job summary

Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center is seeking a Cook to join our award-winning team in Holt, MI. You will prepare nourishing meals for residents, collaborate with the Dietary Director on menus, and ensure portions and sanitary standards are met to deliver exceptional culinary care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and ensure quality and safety per procedures.
• Collaborate with Dietary Director to review menus and portion controls.

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of foodservice and the best culinary experience is provided at all times. They work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures. You will earn: $16.85 - $21.85 depending on exp!

• Starting Wages: $16.00 - 21 .00 based on experience
• Yearly Wage Increases

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
