Desert Mountain Club is seeking a Cook III to join its renowned culinary team in North Scottsdale, AZ. You will help prepare hot and cold items across outlets, banquets, and catering, following recipes and rigorous standards.

You’ll work with a leadership team to uphold quality, taste and presentation while developing your knife skills through diverse kitchen environments and a supportive, growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a professional full-service kitchen.
• Culinary school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold items for outlets, banquets and catering according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure timely production of food to meet service demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following safety guidelines.
• Maintain quality, taste, and presentation standards for all dishes.
• Complete mise en place and station setup for the shift.
• Protect proper storage, rotation and handling of products.
• Maintain knife skills and prep discipline in line with expectations.
• Work days, nights, weekends and holidays; lift up to 50 lb; occasional 90 lb with assistance.
