Job summary

Oak Park Place in Menasha, WI is seeking a full-time Cook for our Dietary team. The role runs 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with no late nights and every other weekend off. A minimum of 3 years cooking in a professional setting is required.

Responsibilities include preparing meals for residents while following dietary and safety regulations, portioning, cooking to menus, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of kitchen or food preparation.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation rules.
• Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Portion and serve food to facility residents.
• Cook according to menus and dietary restrictions.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes or silverware.
• Verify that prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
