BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Cook 2 to join our Food & Beverage team at Trilogy at La Quinta in California. This role includes food preparation, cooking, and serving with supervision by the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

The position requires at least two years of commercial kitchen cooking experience, a Food Handlers card, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Excellent teamwork and guest-focused service are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members.
• Ability to think and make independent decisions with sound judgment.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Master one kitchen station and take responsibility for personal decisions.
• Deliver superior service meeting guests and employees' requirements.
• Respond quickly to guest concerns and resolve challenges.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules to maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Prepare, read, and follow recipes; prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, casseroles.
• Cook, bake, roast, broil, and steam meats and vegetables; adjust oven temperatures.
• Carve meats, portion plates, and add gravies and sauces as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
