Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking a Cook 2 for Trilogy Lake Norman: Twin Mills Club in Huntersville, NC. The cook will prepare, cook, and serve menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

A strong attention to detail and the ability to work evenings and weekends are required. Qualifications include at least two years of commercial kitchen experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a current Food Handlers card.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• High School diploma preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Master one kitchen station and take responsibility for personal decisions and actions.
• Ensure superior service standards meet guest and employee requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedule to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Prepare, cook, and serve foods according to recipes and instructions.
• Carve, portion, garnish, and present dishes to fill orders.
