Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf seeks a Cook 3 for Trilogy at Vistancia - Golf Club & V’s Taproom. The Cook 3 prepares and serves food under the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, contributing to menu execution and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years in a commercial kitchen, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a current Food Handlers card. It offers full-time, on-site work in Peoria, AZ with evening and weekend shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of three years’ cooking experience in commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations.
• Ensure superior standards of service meet guest and employee requirements.
• Investigate and resolve guest or employee issues when needed.
• Follow cleaning schedule daily for a clean, sanitary environment.
• Read cooking instructions and prepare ingredients accordingly.
• Prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and portion meats and vegetables.
• Carve meats and garnish servings to fill orders.
