Qualifications

• Three years of Culinary Experience with a certificate or additional training from an accredited school and/or related experience.
• Proven ability to multitask across multiple cooking stations under supervision.
• Ability to follow safety standards and maintain sanitation throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces to specification for service.
• Plate items with appropriate garnishes and ensure timely delivery to service areas.
• Assist in training Cook 3 and Steward/utility staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment and utensils throughout shifts.
• Read menus to estimate food requirements and manage inventory and ordering.
