Job summary

Bally's in Evansville, Indiana, is seeking a Cook 3 to join our casino kitchen team. You will prepare a wide range of menu items, manage multiple stations, and ensure top quality and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong culinary training and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, in a dynamic dining setting inside a gaming venue. Bally's provides on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary experience with a certificate or additional training.
• Ability to stand for 7+ hours and work varied hours, including holidays.
• Knowledge of Indiana gaming regulations and internal controls.
• Strong knife skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.
• Stirs, tastes, and prepares soups, gravies, sauces, and casseroles.
• Operates ovens, grills, broilers, and steam kettles; monitors temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and organization of stations and equipment.
• Assists in training Cook 3 and Steward/Utility staff.
• Ensures proper presentation and portioning of menu items.
