Job summary

Desert Diamond Casino Sahuarita is seeking a dedicated Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prep, cook, and stage menu items for multiple Food & Beverage venues, while maintaining clean and organized stations in a fast-paced environment.

Under supervision, you will follow standardized recipes, manage par levels, and ensure all health and safety regulations are met. Previous kitchen experience and the ability to work flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and 1 year of recent Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.
• Knowledge of safe kitchen practices and food handling.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods per menu and demand.
• Uses proper knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Reads and follows standardized recipes.
• Maintains clean, organized, and sanitized work areas.
• Ensures venues are ready to open by designated times.
• Maintains proper stock levels and storage areas.
• Communicates effectively with Room Chef and team.
