Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment is seeking a Cook/Prep Cook to join our Food & Beverage team in Tucson. You will prep and cook items, follow recipes, and ensure proper storage and par levels.

The role requires adherence to health and safety standards and effective communication with the Room Chef and staff. The position demands accuracy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced casino kitchen environment, including varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience as Cook or Prep Cook recommended.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to menu and demand.
• Learn and apply knife skills and cooking methods.
• Follow standardized recipes for foods across venues and outlets.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized work areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Communicate with Room Chef and team to ensure proper par levels and stock.
