Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant kitchen experience required.
• ServeSafe Food Handler or local Health Department certificate within 9 months.
• Rouxbe Culinary Training completion within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Produce and prepare food for cafeteria, catering, chef stations, and patient tray line/room service programs according to menus, recipes and portions.
• Adhere to Baptist Health brand culinary standards and ensure quality and timely delivery of meals.
• Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during preparation, service and cleanup.
• Assist/mentor other culinary staff to complete duties on time; provide relief for all cook positions as needed.
