Baptist Health in Kentucky is looking for a Cook II to join the Food Services team. This full-time, day-shift position prepares food for the cafeteria, catering, chef stations, and patient tray lines according to menus and recipes, while upholding Baptist Health culinary standards.

You will deliver high-quality meals quickly, aiming to complete orders within 15 minutes, maintain food safety and proper rotation (FIFO), operate kitchen equipment, and assist fellow cooks.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year Culinary Degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain ServeSafe Food Handler or local Health Department certificate within 9 months of hire.
• Must complete Rouxbe Culinary Training course within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and prepare food for cafeteria, catering, chef stations, and patient tray line/room service programs according to menus and recipes.
• Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing, serving, and cleaning up food.
• Assist and mentor culinary staff to ensure all kitchen duties are completed within given time constraints.
• Provides relief for all other cook positions.
