Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as cook.
• Experience with sanitation procedures.
• Team-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Diploma from culinary school is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting).
• Cook food using various utensils or grillers.
• Check food during cooking and stir/turn as needed.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen environment.
• Store food and other items properly; monitor stock and place orders when short.
