Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 2 to manage set-up, food preparation, and station organization with a focus on high-quality presentation. You will ensure sanitation, coordinate with Cook 1 and Cook 3 teammates, and help drive smooth kitchen operations.

The role requires understanding culinary techniques, higher responsibility than Cook 1, and support for leadership and advanced skills of Cook 3.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize workstation and prepare daily prep.
• Prepare and store all food items for the station.
• Maintain cooking techniques and consistent presentation of menu items.
• Prepare complete meals including soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and baked goods.
• Receive and store goods; manage items used by others.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen.
