Sodexo is hiring a Cook I at the University campus in Dallas. You will prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods, following Sodexo's culinary standards and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficient production, and maintaining a clean workstation in a fast-paced environment. Prior kitchen experience is helpful, and the position offers full-time hours with weekday morning shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold items to Sodexo standards.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized workstation and follow sanitation rules.
• Assist with inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Follow recipes and product directions for consistent quality.
• Contribute to effective kitchen teamwork during busy shifts.
