Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Lana’i is seeking a Cook I to join our culinary team. The role focuses on independently managing a kitchen station, executing menu items per recipes, maintaining mise en place, and ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.

The successful candidate will support junior cooks, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while working in a luxury island resort environment.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in United States required.
• Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card and ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned kitchen station, preparing and executing menu items according to standardized recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Maintain mise en place, monitor food quality, taste, temperature, and plating; communicate with culinary leadership for efficient service.
• Provide guidance to junior cooks and contribute to a productive kitchen environment.
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment; ensure safety and efficiency.
