Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare and portion nutritious meals for patients, retail, and catering. You will follow recipes, maintain kitchen safety standards, and work with a variety of institutional equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of experience, and a ServSafe Certification. DailyPay is available, and shifts include weekdays, rotating weekends, and the occasional late

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in food preparation.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Preps and prepares food items by cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing, pureeing, marinating, etc.
• Follows standardized recipes and uses cooking techniques (sautéing, broiling, braising, blanching, baking, grilling, frying, steaming).
• Chills and stores foods per labeling, dating and rotation procedures; maintains logs for food safety quality control.
• Ensures compliance with dietary requirements, nutritional restrictions, allergens, and other special needs.
• Cleans kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to maintain sanitation.
