Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking a dedicated cook responsible for food production across the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required to produce quality, eye-appealing products within set timeframes. Performs related duties as assigned.

Full-time position, 40 hours, float between Aurora and Cassville. Requires integrity, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food handlers certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to produce quality, eye-appealing foods within set times.

Position Details

Full Time: 40 hours Float position between Aurora and Cassville

Schedule

• Monday through Friday ; every other weekend
• PM Shift: 9:45p-6:15a and AM shift : 5:00am to 1:30p or 6:00am to 2:30p

Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Springfield: Food Handers within 90 days of hire.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used:

All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.

Preferred Education:

High school diploma or its equivalent.
