Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated food production cook to manage all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required, and the candidate must produce quality, eye appealing dishes within allotted time. This full-time position covers a float between Aurora and Cassville.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with every other weekend. Shifts include PM 9:45p-6:15a and AM 5:00am-1:30p or 6:00am-2:30p.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of all methods of cookery.
• Able to produce quality, eye-appealing dishes within time.
• Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food production in all department areas.
• Follow recipes and maintain quality and presentation.

Full Time: 40 hours Float position between Aurora and Cassville

Schedule

Jefferson:

Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Springfield:

Food Handers within 90 days of hire.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used:

All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.

Preferred Education:

High school diploma or its equivalent.
